in this mini-post I will tell you how I built my brushguard.
First of all, for those who do not know the brushguard are sort of elastic caps little help keep the bristles of the brush is very compact during drying after washing brush holder in the housing.
The originals are only available via internet and cost around 15 € (+ shipping cost) with a lot of risk customs.
Honestly I did not really want to spend that amount then I started to think of an alternative, until one day my mom came home from the supermarket with garlic packed in very nice purple retinas.
And here in my mind have materialized my homemade brushgurd:)!
How did I achieve? I simple cut the retina from both sides getting a kind of elastic mesh tube and then, if necessary, route under the maccchina sewing (and I'm cucitolesa I guarantee that anyone is better than me). With each one can achieve on the retina (if you use the powder from Pennellone not have to do anything if does not fit on) to three brushguard!
I am very satisfied with my work at zero cost, environmentally friendly and above all extremely functional!
